ANA CRISTINA POSADA JARAMILLO
BA on advertising of Arts Institute in Medellín, Colombia. BA in Marketing from Broward Community College, Florida, USA. Graphic designer for 8 years on a few important advertising agencies. 7 years designing ceramic tile for local companies such as Corona, Euroceramica and Esmalgres. Since 2009, has been dedicated completely to mosaic art, starting her Ana Posada Mosaico Studio. She works with several materials such as stone, glass, marble and ceramic tile. Designs, develops and installs residential, commercial and urban wall art. Also offers mosaic courses for beginners. It leads and promotes the program "Mosaic for all", developing community projects where it invites and includes all those who want to participate and learn how to make mosaic murals, thus giving another alternative to adults and young people with fewer opportunities.

ARGUMENT
I collect and recycle new and discarded materials. All can be used for something else, it all depends on the way I turn them to give them another meaning. I am passionate about mosaic because, as in life, it allows me to see the various possibilities of transforming what is into what could be. It is a versatile, beautiful, enduring and inclusive technique. As in life what is important is the process, not the result.

Publicista del Instituto Técnico Superior de Artes. Especialización en Mercadeo Broward Community College, Florida, EE. UU. Diseñadora gráfica por 8 años en importantes agencias de publicidad. Diseñadora por 7 años de revestimientos cerámicos para empresas como Corona, Eurocerámica y Esmalgres. Desde 2009 se dedica por completo al mosaico iniciando su Taller estudio Ana Posada Mosaico. En sus obras utiliza diversos materiales como piedra, vidrio, mármol.
Diseña, desarrolla e instala murales a nivel residencial y comercial. Ofrece cursos de mosaico para principiantes. Lidera y promueve el programa ”Mosaico para todos”, desarrollo de proyectos comunitarios donde invita e incluye a todos los que quieren partipar y aprender a realizar murales de mosaico cerámico, dándole así otra alternativa a adultos y jóvenes con menos oportunidades.

ARGUMENTO
Recolecto y reciclo objetos pues siento que sirven para algo más, todo depende del giro que le de para darles vida nuevamente. Me apasiona el mosaico porque como en la vida, permite ver las diversas posibilidades de transformar lo que hay en lo que puede ser. Es una técnica, versátil, hermosa, perdurable e incluyente. Como en la vida lo importante es el proceso, no el resultado.
